2026 BOD CANDIDATE - Jake Salcedo

My name is Jake Salcedo a former President of the Filipino Association of Nova Scotia (FANS) from 2018 to 2023. A founder of the social media group Nova Scotia Pinoy Tambayan which facilitates the spirit of bayanihan (“community cooperation”) in Nova Scotia where I connect Filipino newcomers finding jobs and looking for a place to stay.

From Surallah, South Cotabato in the Philippines, and is former Dean at Capitol University, College of Computer Studies.

I completed a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, a Master of Science in Information Technology, Masters Certificate in Project Management, and a Doctorate Degree in Information Technology (Academic Completed).
