2026 BOD CANDIDATE - Irene Ragunton-Polancos
Irene Ragunton-Polancos
Prince Edward Island (PE)
I am Irene Ragunton-Polancos, a committed Filipino-Canadian community leader with experience in program development, cultural engagement, and servant leadership. As a Programs Director in our Filipino Canadian community in Prince Edward Island, I lead initiatives that bring people together—celebrating our culture, strengthening family values, and fostering unity, while practicing leadership with compassion and promoting values-based spiritual empowerment.
Before coming to Canada, I held leadership roles in the Philippines, gaining experience in managing teams, organizing large-scale events, and working with diverse communities. Being part of a Filipino-Canadian organization across Canada has broadened my perspective on leadership and best practices.
I aim to apply these learnings in PEI by adapting successful programs, building partnerships, and creating inclusive initiatives that reflect both our Filipino identity and Canadian values.
