Narima Dela Cruz is the Founding President of Filipino Canadian National Congress and Founder of Surrey Philippine Independence Day Society (SPIDS) in B.C. Professionally, she works as a court interpreter and language translator, and she is a Licensed Realtor with the Greater Vancouver Board. She also serves on Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s Advisory Committee for Asian Studies Program. She is married to Eng’r. Joel Dela Cruz, a business owner, and they have two adult children: Daryl, a well-known transportation advocate, and Glisha, a multi-awarded singer-songwriter and audio engineer.

She believes that the FCNC must inspire and unite its members to strengthen the Filipino-Canadian community through programs, advocacy, and education, while ensuring meaningful engagement, representation, and empowerment.
