Gina Moreno

Gina Moreno is the President of the Filipino Community of New Brunswick (FCNB). She helped coordinates social events to help connect Filipinos in New Brunswick, and organized cultural promotions to schools and other community events.

Gina migrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba 30 + years ago with her parents and five siblings as part of the sponsored family class. She moved to Frederickton, New Brunswick in 1996 with her husband and 2 kids.

Gina graduated from Herzing Institute and is a member of Canadian Society of Customs Brokers in Ottawa. She is a Licensed Custom Certified Specialist for 26 years with the United Parcel Service.

Gina is a Board Member at Large at the Children International Summer Villages (CISV) Canada and the Representative of the Filipino Community to the Asian Heritage and Multicultural Association of Fredericton. She is also a Managing Director for the New Brunswick Multicultural Council and a member of the No One is Illegal- Fredericton movement.

Gina received a Canada 150 Community Leaders Award in 2017.
